This fruit belongs to the citrus family and is marketed from October to April. The Star Ruby variety stands out for its red flesh and greater sweetness than other varieties. It is grown in the areas of Valencia and Murcia and is exported all over Europe.
Grapefruit is a fruit rich in vitamin C, A and folic acid. Among its many properties, its antioxidant, digestive and purifying properties stand out. Its most notable benefits are helping to reduce cholesterol and weight loss, improving the skin and reinforcing the immune system.
At Startfruit, we work with both first and second class (also called standard) and its packaging is in cardboard or wooden trays. The most common formats are layered 36/40/45/50 pieces in boxes of 14 or 15kg.
